Technical
Tips for Installing Our Parts a. Clean threads thoroughly with a wax and grease remover type cleaner.
b. Make sure that the surfaces of the threads are free of dirt, oil and coolant.
c. To avoid thread galling and to insure a good seal we highly recommend using a high quality sealant around the threads of the stainless steel fitting (Performance Stainless Steel Part #1034) or equivalent. We do not recommend using Teflon Tape or the equivalent product. For more information on sealants visit our website or call our technical department at 609-445-5232.

Shipping
We ship all packages UPS ground unless otherwise specified. UPS next day, 2 day and 3 day shipping are also available at an additional cost.

Damage Claims
Your order was inspected and carefully packaged by professionals before leaving Performance Stainless Steel. It is the responsibility of the freight carrier to make sure your order arrives in the same condition in which it left our facility. If all or part of your order was damaged in transit, report this damage to the carrier as soon as possible. Repackage any damaged merchandise in the original shipping carton together with all packaging material and notify freight carrier for pickup. DO NOT RETURN PACKAGE TO US. CALL OUR CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER at 609-445-5232 TO ARRANGE FOR REPLACEMENT OR ASSISTANCE.

Shortages/Incorrect Shipments
Inspect your merchandise and invoice to assure you have received all of the merchandise for which you have been billed. All shortages or incorrect shipments must be reported within 3 business days of receipt of shipment. After this period we cannot be responsible. Use care when unpacking your shipment to open all boxes and unwrap all packaging.

Return Policy (for items purchased directly from Performance Stainless Steel, Inc.) Prior to returning any product, you must contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). All returned merchandise must be made within 30 days of purchase date. All returns must include a copy of the original invoice and a brief explanation for the return of the product. Returns subject to a restocking charge.

Our Guarantee
Performance Stainless Steel, Inc. guarantees its 304 stainless steel parts will look great, fit right and are highly corrosion resistant. Products that have been modified from their original condition or allowed to deteriorate to a “non-new” condition cannot be returned. All returns must be made within 30 days of purchase date.

Performance Stainless Steel, Inc. will not be liable for personal, property, legal or financial damages from the use or misuse of any product we sell. The purchaser is solely responsible for the safety and performance of these products.

Limited Lifetime Warranty (thermostat housings only)
This product is warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship for as long as the consumer owns the product. This warranty does not include wear items such as gaskets, orings and fasteners. At Performance Stainless Steel, Inc.’s option, defective product will be repaired, replaced or substituted with a product of equal value.
